Hi,
Definetly supporting that feature. To add a bit more info for the PMO and devs regarding that feature :
The Kurdish language have 2 main dialects :
- Kuridsh Kurmancî : Used by around 30millions people. (Turkey, Syria, Iran, Iraq) Using Latin Alphabet with extra letters such as (Ş, ç, ...). Most of the font support these characters. It's a LTR language.
IETF kmr
ISO 639-2 ira2
ISO 639-3 kmr
- Kurdish Soranî : Used by around 5-10millions people. (Iraq, Iran) Using an alphabet close to Arabic/Farsî(Iranian), I guess both would work, I'm not an expert on that. It's a RTL language.
ISO 639-3 ckb
(Please do not use other terminology because it will confuse the user. Microsoft Translate refers them as Kurdish Central and Kurdish Northern, found on wikipedia, but that doesn't mean anything for most of the user)
Some translator supports both dialects :
- Google Translate
- Microsoft Translate

Update : I know the Voice To Text will be hard to achieve in short term, but please a quick win to implement first for the text translation. For example the video would have an English voice, then you can have Kurdish subtitle by translating from English using one of the translation engine (Ms translate or Google Translate)
